In his opening speech, Associate Professor Le Hoang Son, Deputy Director of the Information Technology Institute, shared: “Organizing the 2024 Research Exchange Program opens up many opportunities for us to promote research and development in the fields of information technology and semiconductor technology, while enhancing practical and research skills. The program includes specific exchanges from experts along with practical guidance aimed at building project proposals and training for international publications, fostering sustainable collaboration between the Information Technology Institute and universities.”

Associate Professor Le Hoang Son delivered the opening speech for the event.

The program’s content was rich and diverse, focusing on modern topics that are also the main research directions of the Information Technology Institute, including Artificial Intelligence, Semiconductor Technology, Information Security, and Digital Transformation. New and modern research directions such as Generative Artificial Intelligence, AI chip technology, and national data sharing platforms were also thoroughly presented by experts, along with in-depth analyses of their applicability and implementation in practice. Interspersed with the presentations on research directions were shares on how to write project proposals for national and international projects, experiences in selecting and publishing articles in journals indexed by WoS/Scopus, guidelines for writing Scopus articles to meet publication standards, and experiences in implementing information security projects that meet standards.

Professor Tran Xuan Tu, Director of the Information Technology Institute and Head of the National University of Hanoi’s strong research group on Intelligent Integrated Systems (SISLAB), shared research directions on IoT semiconductor technology.

The program also created an academic exchange space, proposing potential research directions between the Information Technology Institute and its partners. Through this, university lecturers from the Institute’s partner institutions enhance their research capabilities and strengthen collaboration, aiming to build joint research and projects among the institutions in the near future.
