On the morning of June 24, 2026, the Information Technology Institute (ITI), Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) successfully organized the PhD Research Day 2026 at the VNU-RMIT Innovation Hub, located in the VNU Urban Area in Hoa Lac (QGHN-04).
The event was attended by Dr. Le Quang Minh, Vice Director of the Information Technology Institute; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hoang Son, Vice Director of the Information Technology Institute; Dr. Duong Quang Khanh, Head of the Office of Science, Technology and Education; together with faculty members, researchers, and PhD candidates of the Institute.
The event aimed to promote scientific research and innovation, strengthen academic exchange, and provide PhD candidates with an opportunity to present their research findings and engage in scholarly discussions with faculty members and researchers. It also served as a meaningful initiative to enhance the quality of doctoral education, foster a dynamic research environment, and encourage innovation at the Information Technology Institute.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Le Quang Minh emphasized the vital role of scientific research in doctoral education and encouraged PhD candidates to actively pursue high-quality research and continuously improve the quality of their scientific publications. His inspiring message served as a valuable source of motivation for young researchers to continue their academic journey.
During the event, PhD candidates presented their research across a wide range of topics in information and communication technology. Following the oral presentation session, the scientific poster exhibition created a vibrant and interactive academic atmosphere. Through their posters, PhD candidates were able to showcase their research visually while engaging in direct discussions with faculty members, experts, and fellow researchers about their ideas, methodologies, research outcomes, and future research directions.
