On March 12, 2025, the education organization Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) announced the 2025 World University Rankings by Subject. In this ranking, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) has 12 disciplines ranked, with 10 of them in the Top 500.
Notably, the Information Technology Institute of VNU has played a crucial role in bringing two disciplines into the world’s Top 500 rankings:
- Engineering – Electrical & Electronic: This field has improved its ranking to the 401-450 group with a score of 54.3, reflecting the development and quality of training and research at the institute.
- Computer Science & Information Systems: It continues to maintain its position in the 551-600 group, marking the seventh consecutive year it has been ranked, demonstrating stability and credibility in education and research.
This achievement not only reinforces the position of the Information Technology Institute but also contributes to enhancing the reputation and educational quality of VNU on the international stage.
