On November 8, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Information Technology Institute, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organized a training course titled “Applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Scientific Research and Work” for employees of the PetroVietnam Oil Joint Stock Corporation (PVOil). The course was attended by 85 participants, including managers and scientific experts from PV Oil’s subsidiaries and departments.
The opening ceremony and certificate presentation were attended by Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong, Deputy General Director of PVOil, and Prof. Tran Xuan Tu, Director of the Information Technology Institute, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
During the course, lecturers from the Institute introduced participants to fundamental concepts, principles, and the essence of artificial intelligence models. They also provided training on prompt engineering techniques to effectively utilize AI models for management tasks and scientific research activities.
