Many scientists from the Information Technology Institute – Vietnam National University, Hanoi are currently serving on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Science: Information and Communication Technology, including Prof. Sci. Dinh Dung, Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Tu, and Dr. Bui Duy Hieu. Among them, Prof. Tran Xuan Tu holds the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal. Participation in the Editorial Board of JCSCE not only affirms the prestige of the Information Technology Institute but also demonstrates the Institute’s responsibility in building an academic environment and strengthening the Journal of Science brand of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
The Journal of Science: Information and Communication Technology (VNU Journal of Science: Computer Science and Communication Engineering – VNUJS-CSCE) is one of nine publication series within the VNU Journal of Science system of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The Journal has the international standard serial numbers p-ISSN: 2615-9260 and e-ISSN: 2588-1086, and is published quarterly with four issues per year.
VNUJS-CSCE focuses on publishing research works with high academic and practical value in various fields such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Information Security, Intelligent Systems, Communications and Networks, Electronics and Microcircuits, Embedded Systems, Internet of Things, Signal and Information Processing, Biomedical Electronics, Robotics Engineering, and related areas.
The Journal is operated under a professional scientific publishing process, adhering to international standards and practices, including double-blind peer review, publication entirely in English, management and publication on a modern online platform, and assignment of a DOI to each article; it also aims to be indexed in reputable databases such as Scopus and Web of Science.
According to Decision No. 26/QD-HDGSNN dated July 11, 2025 of the State Council for Professorship on the list of scientific journals eligible for scoring in 2025, VNUJS-CSCE is awarded a maximum score of 1.0 by the Professor Councils in the disciplinary and interdisciplinary fields of Information Technology and Electrical – Electronics – Automation.
